Vibo Valentia: Director Banca Antonveneta sentenced to wear

VIBO Valentia - The former branch manager of Vibo Valentia in Banca Antonveneta, Alfredo Rosario Donato, 46, was sentenced to one year in prison on charges of usury.

The ruling was issued by the Court of Vibo Valentia (president Giancarlo Bianchi), which granted to Donald extenuating circumstances. The sentence was suspended.

The charges against Donato was based on the complaint of two entrepreneurs in respect of which, at the conclusion of contracts, bank account would be charged an interest rate of 31 percent.

Donato was convicted only for conduct which is in a given time period (second quarter of 2002) and acquitted of the same charges related to other periods.
